Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 2026
- No advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies. None.
- Only first-party cookies, for signing in, vote integrity and the preferences you pick.
- Choose “Essential only” and the site keeps nothing beyond what it needs to work.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site saves in your browser. “Local storage” is similar, but stays on your device and is never sent to us. Below is every one Petty Court uses, what it’s for, and how long it lasts.
2. Essential cookies
The site can’t work without these, so they’re always on. None of them follow you to other sites.
3. Preference cookies
Set only when you choose something (language, theme, the courtroom view) and want that choice remembered.
4. Local storage on your device
These stay on your device and are never sent to us.
5. Third parties
- Google Firebase — only while you sign in or sign up, and while you’re
signed in, keeps your sign-in state in your browser’s storage (
firebase:*). Google’s privacy policy applies. - Cloudflare — hosts the site, and may set security cookies such as
__cf_bmorcf_clearanceto tell people from bots when it sees suspicious traffic.
We use no third-party cookies for advertising or analytics.
6. Changing your choice
Use the button above, or “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page, whenever you like. Switching to “Essential only” clears the optional local storage straight away. You can also delete cookies in your browser’s settings, though deleting the essential ones signs you out.
