AITA for refusing to let my classmate copy my homework after he made fun of me?

The Accusation
I (14, Male) have a kid in my class (14, Male) who constantly jokes about me. He calls me a nerd because I actually do my homework and get decent grades. I've mostly ignored it because I don't want drama. Yesterday, right before math class, he came up to me acting all friendly and asked if he could copy my homework because he "forgot" to do it. I told him no. He got annoyed and said, "Come on, it's not a big deal." I reminded him that literally the day before he was making fun of me in front of everyone for studying during lunch. He rolled his eyes and said I was being "too sensitive." I still said no. He ended up turning in nothing and got detention because this wasn't the first time he'd missed homework. Now some of my friends think I should've just let him copy because "it would've taken two seconds," while others say he got what he deserved. I don't think I did anything wrong, but now I'm wondering if I was being petty. AITA?
